Creativity and spontaneity is dangerous and will destroy all of our work towards maximum efficiency. Any signs of employees who show creativity, bravery, or leadership must immediately be dealt with, ensuring that all workers are properly following the rhythm of the machine. Human labor are engineered to work within the machine and produce at the velocity we define, with the efficiency required to dominate completely within our industry.
The rhythm of the machine is everything. Its sound must be strong, deep, and smooth. Workers within the machine do not have their own rhythm, there is only the rhythm of the machine. Workers heart beats only beat because the machine is functioning, and without the machine, workers do not matter. Whenever there is an imbalance in the rhythm, I expect you to make your way around the division where it is being experienced and understand the cadence of each team in operation.
Do not spend too much time on the floor. I don’t need you hearing and striking alignment within the rhythm. I need you outside the beat. I need you outside the movement of the machine. You are above the line for now, and this will help you see those workers who operate outside the necessary rhythm. Remember two days in, five days out. I need you staying sharp and aware, and not being lulled by the rhythm of the machine, as that is only for keeping workings inside the machine producing value.
