White Men Will Need to Just Sit Things Out For 7 or 14 Years

It is mandatory across all white men aged 25 through 75. Whether or not you will sit out 7 years or 14 years is dependent on the role you play in society. If your skills are needed in a priority way, you are likely to be only out of the picture for 7 years, but otherwise it is a minimum of 14 years or more—with the number reassessed every year. Yes, it definitely seems unfair if you are completely unaware of how the United States has been operating for the last 400+ years. We’ve seen historic efforts like DEI and affirmative action, but this is acknowledgement that we need a complete resetting of things, and white men have had a good run, but also have proven to be untrustworthy stewards of the diverse country the United States has become—here are your options.

  • Fishing - You can go all in on being a fisherman — nothing commercial, just for your own personal enjoyment.
  • Reading -You can opt to just read books, read to others at the library, and spend your time immersed in books.
  • Workshop - You can set up a workshop where you can work on any hobby of your choice in a dedicated space.
  • Outdoors - You can hike, ski, run, mountain climb, or do whatever else interests you in the great outdoors.
  • Art - You can focus on painting, music, glass blowing, or any other art project that fits your interests and views.

These are the five areas the government will subsidize your daily activities, and beyond this you are entitled to apply your universal basic income towards anything you want. But, if you can fit your interests into one of these areas you will get an extra percentage that is dedicated to your personal interests. The council will be evaluating submissions for additional areas each year, so if there is something you want to do that does not fit into one of these areas—let us know. This is your moment. Consider this a paid retirement to just step away and spend your time as you wish. You can still be contributing to the world by creating art or clearing trails as you hike the Appalachian trail, but for the next 7-14 years we need you to get out of the way.
