My sentinel fleet of home bots are the best! I love them so much I even upgraded to the professional version so that I could take advantage of them in my garage and home office. I just feel more empowered with them. I recommend starting with two, instead of just one, because you will be more productive and they begin to work together. It definitely costs more right out of the gate, but you will be much happier than you would within a single sentinel–if you can afford more, do it!
When you upgrade to the professional grade Sentinel you get the equivalent of a medium dog rather than the smaller personal edition. It makes the difference when it comes to the more physical work. I have inventory and box packing work which it excels at, as well as moving furniture, rearranging and organizing the house or garage—it really is unless the things you can have it do. I never thought I’d rearrange my entire house every month but I can now and it really just keeps things exciting and ever changing in your potentially dull day to day existence.
I have never seen any of the behavior you described in your series about the Sentinels. They are friendly and well-programmed. I could see if you didn’t stay up to date on software upgrades or tried to operate without cloud connectivity I could see unforeseen problems emerge. But a well maintained Sentinel is the finest hardware I’ve ever seen and something no house should be without. Yes, I am serious. I actually believe that it should be required for everyone to have a Sentinel as part of home mainteance. It just keeps people safe. I heard of a nine year old girl who was saved from her abusive father by a Sentinel, and I can just imagine that making Sentinels a requirement as part of home ownership or from your landlord, as dictated by the current legislation makes a lot of sense.
Sentinels are builders and makers. Sure there are more destructive versions of demolition Sentinels, or. maybe for the police or military editions, but the home and professional versions are programmed to support. That is their directive. I understand your apprehension but really your concern is misplaced, and once you understand the technology and have experienced living with the Sentinels you begin to see things differently. You feel safer knowing they could disarm an intruder. Yes, ha ha ha, just like in that movie where they removed the arms of that one burglar. I love that one. If you have a project you want accomplished around your house, I am happy to come by with my fleet of 8 Sentinels and get the job done in no time at all-—just say the word!
